I was born in Port Neches, Texas and still live in the southeast corner of Texas. After raising three children as a single mom, I married Sam Showalter, D.D.S. and together we have six grown children and fifteen grandchildren. My passion is for single mothers which inspired me to establish SMORE for Women, an alliance of women whose goal is Single Moms, Overjoyed, Rejuvenated, & Empowered!
