Setting Boundaries with children and others is my challenge! I’m an older mom (48) raising someone else’s grandson (age 7) since he was 13 months old. He’s been through so much (abandon by so many people). No one helps me with him but they want to have all the control! HELP!!!!

Thank you for your comment. There are some excellent books on setting boundaries by Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend.In fact, there is one titled, Setting Boundaries with Kids. Their work has been life changing for many people.
My mother was 38 when I was born and I know she must have been very tired at times. Your son is fortunate to have you. I’m sure you are a good mom or you wouldn’t even be posting on our blog. I hope to hear from you again.
